kynance cove

Our lives have been a bit stressful the last little while, moving around from place to place, Tom studying for his exams, filling out endless visa forms... so we decided to run away from it all for a fun weekend before I head back to the States. I asked Tom what he would want to show me in England if we only had one day and he picked Kynance Cove. He couldn't have picked a better destination! Kynance Cove is in Cornwall, which is the most southwest part of England. It is full of little fishing villages and surrounded by beautiful beaches. We woke up early Friday morning and drove through the beautiful countryside with our trusty map.

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the sea breeze, playing at the beach, building a sandcastle, eating fish n' chips, flying a kite, driving down the crazy little one way lanes and watching the sunsets.

It was such a fun weekend full of wonderful memories to tide us over until the end of the summer when we will be together again!
