it's off to the races!!!

last time we were down south, I was able to experience the wonders of horse racing for the very first time... to keep with tradition we watched the grand national race with tom's family, picking our favorites, and cheering them on throughout the race. my personal favorite was brooklyn brownie, but my most promising selection was black apachi. i really thought he was going to win, so it was a bit crushing when he took a tumble and was out of the race. better luck next year black apachi!!!!!
